I had a surprising stay at the hotel. The rooms were much nicer than I expected, although there was a bad nursing home smell that was a bit off-putting. On the bright side, we had easy access to walk our dogs, which was a big plus for us.

The service was pleasant overall, although some staff members seemed unconcerned with the problems and there was an issue with using profanity and complaining about their job when requesting additional towels. On the positive side, the housekeeping was satisfactory, and the shops/commercial services were convenient.

The location was great and very convenient, near plenty of restaurants and shopping outlets, in South Africa, right off of I-75, excellent for sitting to watch TV. However, it might end up costing me much more with the need to get breakfast on the road and the possibility of having to pay for another night in a hotel due to lack of sleep, etc.

The dining experience needs some improvement as it is not really breakfast, just fruit juice and waffles. It did not compare to other places we have recently stayed at, offering just cereal, waffle machine, muffins, and bagels; however, they did provide local vegetables.

The hotel was cozy and roomy without any carpeting, making it a genius choice for pet rooms. The mixed and matched furniture added a unique touch, and having a Jacuzzi was a great bonus. However, the dining options left something to be desired with limited choices.
